KEFI Minerals has access to employees of EMED Mining which include the following key individuals:

  • Malcolm Stallman, Exploration Manager
    Malcolm Stallman is an exploration geologist with over 20 years experience in gold and base metal exploration project management.  He graduated from the Queensland Institute of Technology in 1986 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Geology. His experience ranges from field-based exploration projects through to project generation studies for a range of commodities in Australia, Fiji, Armenia and Turkey.  He has worked with major mining companies including Freeport-McMoRan Australia, Normandy Exploration, MIM Exploration and Newmont Mining. During this time, he was instrumental in the discovery of the Samphire Gold Mine in Western Australia and in the discovery and delineation of porphyry-style copper-gold and Carlin-style gold deposits in Turkey. He has been based in Turkey since August 2003 and joined KEFI Minerals in March 2007 as Exploration Manager with responsibility for the management of the company’s exploration projects.
  • Omer Celenk, Adviser - Turkey
    Omer Celenk is EMED Mining’s Country Adviser in Turkey. He is a Turkish Citizen based in Ankara. Omer has 26 years’ experience as a geochemist and economic geologist. He has worked for the Turkish Geological Survey, the United Nations in India, Philippines and Uganda, and also for Kenmare Resources Limited. Since 1994 he worked as a freelance consultant on economy geology and geochemistry mainly in Turkey until being recruited by KEFI Minerals in early 2006.
  • Ron Cunneen, Head of Exploration, EMED Mining
    Ronald Cunneen has been an exploration and mine geologist for the past 20 years. He has worked for Renison Goldfields Limited as a mine and exploration geologist focused on base metals and gold including work at Mount Lyall Copper Mine in Tasmania, base metal exploration in New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, Australia and Papua New Guinea. For 10 years Ron was head of mine geology and exploration for Gympie Gold Limited. He began work for EMED Mining in December 2004.
  • Dr Demetrios Constantinides, Head of Regional Development, EMED Mining
    Dr Constantinides is head of regional development for EMED. He is a Cypriot Citizen based in Athens and Nicosia and he has 31 years’ experience in mineral exploration and mineral economics. He has held senior roles in European Union mining projects, the post of director for public relations and international affairs for the Institute of Geology and Mineral Exploration in Greece (IGME). Previously, he was the deputy director of exploration of IGME, as well as being a consultant to various international mining companies including Rio Tinto plc, Kyprou Gold Limited, and general manager and deputy chairman of Thrace Minerals Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Greenwich Resources plc). He began work for EMED Mining in July 2005.
